"data
or information regarding the fatality or near fatality of a
child who is the subject of a report of abuse or
neglect, must be made available to any member of the general
public upon request." |

Pursuant to
Statewide Policy, 0401: "Any
such data and information which is known must be made
available to DCFS Administration not later than 48 hours
after a fatality and not later than 5 business days after a
near fatality. All Public Disclosures, including appropriate
updates, will be posted on the DCFS Public Website." |
